Nose Filler.

How it works

The science ,
simplified.

Understanding the mechanism helps you set realistic expectations and choose the right brand for your goals.

01

Consultation & planning

Dr. Lee analyzes your facial proportions using digital photography. Together, we identify specific target points: bridge height, tip projection, nose-to-chin ratio.

02

Topical numbing

Numbing cream is applied for 15 minutes before treatment. Most fillers also contain lidocaine, so injection discomfort is minimal.

03

Precision injection

Using a cannula or fine needle, Dr. Lee deposits small amounts of HA filler along the bridge midline and at key support points around the tip. Total injection time: 5-10 minutes.

04

Instant result, 2-week settling

Results are visible immediately. Minor swelling and firmness resolves over 1–2 weeks, revealing the final natural-looking contour. Effect lasts 12–18 months.

Treatment areas

Where we inject ,
and why.

Each area has its own anatomical target, typical volume, and result timeline. Dr. Lee will recommend a personalized plan during consultation.

Area Concern Treated Typical Volume Results In
Bridge (Dorsum) Flat or low nasal bridge 0.3–0.8cc Immediate
Tip (Lobule) Droopy, rounded, or bulbous nose tip 0.1–0.3cc Immediate
Dorsal Hump Visible bump on nose profile 0.2–0.5cc Immediate
Radix (Root) Deep-set area between brows 0.2–0.4cc Immediate
Columella Short columella, rotation of tip 0.1–0.2cc Immediate

Frequently asked

Nose Filler
questions.

How much does nose filler cost in Busan?
At JRYN Seomyeon, non-surgical nose filler prices (unlimited volume concept): Attierre ₩90,000, Neuramis ₩130,000, Restylane ₩240,000, Juvederm ₩260,000. Unlike typical per-cc pricing, our flat 'unlimited' model means you pay once regardless of how much filler we use to achieve the ideal result.
Is non-surgical nose job permanent?
No — hyaluronic acid nose filler lasts 12–18 months depending on brand and metabolism. Juvederm and Restylane tend to last longest (15–18 months). If you don't like the result, filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase within 24 hours. This reversibility is a major safety advantage over surgery.
Will my nose look bigger after filler?
Nose filler can only ADD — not reduce. It's ideal for raising a flat bridge, refining the tip, or smoothing bumps. It cannot narrow a wide nose, reduce nostril size, or shrink an overall large nose. Those concerns require surgical rhinoplasty. We'll honestly assess during consultation.
Is nose filler safer than surgical rhinoplasty?
Both have risks, but they're different. Nose filler has lower overall risk (no general anesthesia, no scarring) but carries rare vascular risk if injected incorrectly. Surgery has permanent results but more invasive risks. At JRYN, we use cannula technique and ultrasound guidance for maximum safety — vascular events in our clinic are <0.01%.
How long is the recovery after nose filler?
Minimal. Most patients return to work the same day. Mild swelling lasts 2–3 days; small bruising may take up to a week. Final shape settles at 2 weeks. Avoid glasses resting on the bridge for 2 weeks to prevent filler migration.
Can I combine nose filler with chin filler?
Yes — this 'nose-chin axis' combination is extremely popular. When both are refined, overall facial balance improves dramatically. Many patients do nose + chin + lips together in a single session for comprehensive profile refinement.
What is 'unlimited' nose filler?
Most Korean clinics charge per cc (typical nose uses 0.5–1.2cc). Our 'unlimited' pricing means one flat rate regardless of volume — if your nose needs 1.5cc for optimal result, you pay the same as someone needing 0.6cc. This removes financial pressure from treatment planning.
Does nose filler hurt?
Minimal discomfort. Topical numbing cream is applied first. Most fillers contain lidocaine. Most patients rate pain 2/10. The procedure takes 5-10 minutes for injection plus 15 minutes for numbing preparation.
Can nose filler fix my deviated septum or breathing issues?
No. Filler only addresses cosmetic concerns on the visible external nose. Structural or functional issues (deviated septum, collapsed cartilage, breathing problems) require surgical correction. We can refer you to our ENT surgeon network for functional concerns.
Do you offer English-speaking consultations for nose filler?
Yes. JRYN Seomyeon offers consultations in English, Japanese, and Chinese. Medical tourism patients often book 1-2 days in advance — allowing time for consultation, treatment, and a brief follow-up before flying home. WhatsApp support continues after return.
