Why I built
JRYN.
After fifteen years of practicing cosmetic dermatology — first as a young resident, later as a director at one of Seoul's busiest clinics — I realized that the deepest measure of skill was not how dramatic a result looked, but how naturally it integrated into the patient's existing face.
Every face has its own quiet rhythm. My work is to add precision without erasing what's natural.
That principle shaped every decision when I founded JRYN in 2007. I wanted a clinic where consultation lasted 45 minutes, not 5. Where pricing was transparent, including for foreign patients. Where treatment plans were designed around the patient's own face — not aggressive standard protocols.
Today, JRYN serves patients from Korea, Japan, China, and over thirty other countries. Many fly into Gimhae International Airport specifically for our consultations. Their trust is the result of a simple promise: we will tell you what we honestly think, recommend only what you need, and care for the result long after you have left Busan.
